Following last year’s investment in a new Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX printing machine, we are now pleased to confirm this year’s investment plans. By the end of January 2010 we will have moved into a brand new 80,000 sq feet building 5 miles away in Godmanchester.
In addition to the move, we have purchased 3 x Bobst Vision Cut and Crease machines with cutter centre line location systems and faster set up and running speeds, a Bobst Expertfold 110 gluing machine with blank aligner single tool concept, Flipper ejector and cube technology creating less waste and faster running speeds and finally a Kodak Magnus 800X – Speed CTP machine with automatic plate loading system. All of which will be fully installed by January 2010
The total cost of the move and investment is £3 Million.

Firstan in new Pharma Standards first
Firstan has been awarded the new ISO 15378:2007 Primary Packaging Materials for Medicinal Products following a year-long project to meet the standard’s stringent quality control standards.
